10 Make Ahead Smoothies With Only 3-Ingredients

Smoothies are one of my favorite ways to start the day. They provide energy and nutrients from fresh fruit (and sometimes veggies!) while having endless amounts of flavor. The best part about smoothies, however, is the ability to make them ahead of time for an easy “grab and go” breakfast option — after all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

To make these smoothies ahead of time, place all ingredients for the smoothie of your choice into a freezer bag or glass freezer-proof jar. To ease blending, pull out the bag a few minutes before you’re ready to blend to let it thaw a bit — this will help you lose less liquid and give the smoothie a more concentrated flavor. Some of our personal favorite liquids for blending are water, coconut water, almond milk, or juice.

Which of these smoothies will you try first?
