Medicare does cover active chiropractic therapy for acute injuries for 90 consecutive days. Chiropractic therapy falls into the category of the chiropractic adjustment of spinal manipulation. Although they do not cover passive therapies and modalities, medicare does cover the physical adjustment (the most important part of alleviating pain).
